Instructions

1.  Cut a length of chain measuring 12cm.

2.  Slide a 15mm split ring onto the last link at each end of the chain.

3.  Slide the swivel clasp onto one of the split rings (this will be the end to attach to your handbag).

4.  Thread a flat chunk shell (SHE201) onto a head pin followed by a 10mm pearl.  Trim excess head pin leaving approximately 1cm.  Using round nose pliers curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop.  Repeat reversing the order on the head pin (8mm pearl then flat chunk shell).

5.  Thread a 10mm pearl onto a head pin followed by a small cube shell (SHE301).  Trim excess head pin leaving approximately 1cm.  Using round nose pliers curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop.  Repeat.

6.  Thread an oblong chunky shell (SHE401) onto a head pin followed by a 8mm pearl.  Trim excess head pin leaving approximately 1cm.  Using round nose pliers curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop.  Repeat.

7.  Thread a 10mm pearl onto a head pin followed by a 10mm glass cube.  Trim excess head pin leaving approximately 1cm.  Using round nose pliers curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop.

8.  Thread a chunky glass bead onto a head pin followed by a 10mm pearl.  Trim excess head pin leaving approximately 1cm.  Using round nose pliers curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop.

9.  Thread a 10mm glass cube onto a head pin followed by a flat chunky shell (SHE201).  Trim excess head pin leaving approximately 1cm.  Using round nose pliers curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop.

10.  Shell spikes (SHE101) are attached to the chain by using the excess off a head pin.  Pass it through the hole in the shell spike and twist the ends around each other with round nose pliers.  Create a loop at the top if the twist.  Repeat to make 5 shell spikes.

11.  Using jump rings attach shell and bead charms onto the chain in random order.

12.  Using jump rings attached the shell spikes onto the chain in random order.

12.  Using jump rings attach coins on the chain in random order.

You can substitute any of the beads from the Ribtex range to make your charms using the techniques outlined above.
