Hematite Jewellery Set

Requirements

• 1 pkt Ribtex Magnetic Beads Small Hexagon Bead (eg HEM110)
• 2 pkt Ribtex Glass Beads 4mm Bicone (eg GB201 to GB215)
• 1 pkt Ribtex Faux Pearls 4mm (eg PRL101 to PRL108)
• 1 pkt Ribtex Jewellery Bitz Non Stretch Nylon Beading Line (eg JF247)
• 2 pkt Ribtex Jewellery Bitz Metal Crimp Beads (JF138)
• 1 pkt Ribtex Jewellery Bitz Silver Head Pins (eg JF183)
• 1pkt Ribtex Jewellery Bitz Silver Shepherd Hooks (eg JF110)
• Access to a set of round nose pliers (eg JF166) 

Instructions

Hematite Chain

1.  Cut 1 metre of Nylon Beading Line and thread 2 x crimp beads onto the beading line leaving a 4cm tail.  thread 2cm of the end of the beading line back through the first crimp bead and pull tightly (refer Diagram A).  Using roun nose pliers, crimp/flatten the first crimp bead, making sure it is secure.

2.  Begin by threading the beads in the following order:  1 x hematite bead, 1 x crimp bead, 1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x crimp bead, 1 x faux pearl, 1 x crimp bead, 1 x glass bead, 1 x crimp bead.   For pattern reference, refer Diagram B.

3.  Repeat the pattern 36 times and end the pattern by threading 1 x hematite bead.

4.  Thread the beading line through 2 x crimp beads leaving a 4cm tail.  Thread the end of the beading line back through the first crimp bead and pull tightly.  Using round nose pliers, crimp/flatten the crimp bead, making sure it is secure.

5.  Thread beading line back through three beads and trim excess beading line.  To wear wrap chain around wrist matching hematite beads to secure.  This can also be worn as a necklace, a belt or a choker.

Earrings

1.  Onto a head pin, thread:  1 x hematitie bead, 1 x crimp bead, 1 x 4mm gass bead, 1 x crimp bead, 1 x faux pearl, 1 x crimp bead, 1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x crimp bead.

2.  With round nose pliers, curl the straight end of the head pin to form a loop (refer Diagram C). 

Then attach to the loop at the base of the shepherd hook (refer Diagram D).

3.  Repeat steps 1 and 2 to complete the earring set.
