Instructions

NecklaceDiagram A

1.  Take 3 long head pins and cut each pin to 4cm, 5cm and 6cm lengths which will form yourDiagram B centre feature of the necklace.  Thread the following beads and crimpers (as spacers) onto a head pin (refer diagram A):  1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper, 1 x 6mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper, 1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper.  Using round nose pliers, form loops at the top of the head pin (refer diagram B).

Repeat step 1 using the other two head pins and an eye pin.Diagram C

2.  Using round nose pliers, open a jump ring and put the 3 head pins and eye pin onto the ring and close securely with the round nose pliers.  The other end of the eye pin will be threaded on the tiger tail to form your centre piece (refer diagram C).

3.  Cut a 50cm length of tiger tail wire (or length required for the necklace to sit comfortably).  Thread your completed feature (refer diagram D) onto the centre of the tiger tail wire.

4.  TDiagram Dhread onto the tiger tail wire the pattern listed under Step 1, and crimp/flatten the end silver crimper.  Thread another crimper onto the tiger tail wire and crimp/flatten 2.5cm from the previous silver crimper.  Repeat the pattern again and crimp/flatten the end silver crimper.  Repeat this step once more (as per diagram D).

5.  Repeat Step 4 to complete the other side of the feature piece.

6.  Onto the tiger tail wire, thread:  1 x silver crimper, 1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper, 1 x jump ring, and thread the end of the wire back through the 3 beads and pull tightly.  Using round nose pliers, crimp/flatten both silver crimpers, making sure it is secure and trim excess wire.  Repeat for other end of the wire.

7.  Using your round nose pliers, open one of the jump rings.  Thread the jump ring through the small loop on the lobster clasp and close the jump ring securely.

8.  Thread 1 x 6mm glass bead onto a head pin.  Leaving a 1cm gap, trim the excess portion of the head pin.  Using your round nose pliers, create a loop at the end of the head pin and thread a 6cm length of chain through the loop and close the loop tightly.Diagram E

9.  Using the round nose pliers, open the other jump ring (i.e. without the lobster clasp) and thread the chain onto the jump ring and close securely (refer diagram E).

Earrings

1.  Take 6 long head pins and cut two of each pin to 4cm, 5cm and 6cm lengths which will form yourDiagram E matching pair of earrings.  Thread the following beads and crimpers (as spacers) onto a head pin (refer Necklace diagram A):  1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper, 1 x 6mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper, 1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper.

2.  Using round nose pliers, form loops at the top of the head pin (refer Necklace diagram B).

Repeat step 1 for the other five head pins.

3.  Using round nose pliers, open a jump ring and put the 3 head pins (4cm, 5cm and 6cm) and a shepherd hook onto the ring and close securely with the round nose pliers (refer diagram F).

WatchDiagram G

1.  Cut nylon beading line into two 25cm lengths.  Take one length of line and feed through the two small holes on either side of the reverse side of the watch face (refer diagram G).

2.  With the right side of the watch facing up, on each line thread:  1 x silver crimper, 1 x 4mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper, 1 x 6mm glass bead, 1 x silver crimper.  Bring the pattern together by threading both lines through 1 x tube crimper (refer Diagram H).Diagram H

3.  Repeat this process until the desired length is achieved (three patterns on each side of the watch face is the average length).

4.  Turn watch face and clasp over (wrong side facing up) to connect clasp to band.  Thread both ends of the line through the two small holes in the clasp and tie a secure knot.  Pass ends of the nylon thread back through your beads and spacers about half way and trim excess line (refer Diagram I).Diagram I

5.  Repeat steps 2 - 3 to complete the other side of the watch band.
