Instructions
The handbag tassel is comprised of six individual units. Here are the instructions for each unit.
1. Unit 1 - Cut a piece of chain approximately 5cm long. Using a jump ring, attach a silver heart to the end. Attach another jump ring to the end of the chain and attach to the large silver split ring.
2. Unit 2 - Cut a piece of chain approximately 8cm long.
Thread a 6mm white pearl onto a head pin, followed by a 12mm grey pearl, then another 6mm white pearl. Turn the end of the head pin into a loop. Now snip off the 'head' of the pin, leaving approximately 7mm of pin. Turn this end into a loop as well (so you have a loop at both ends).
Thread a 12mm grey pearl onto a head pin. Cut off excess pin, leaving approximately 7mm of pin. Turn into a loop. Before closing the loop completely, join this bead unit to the unit you made previously with the three pearls. Now attach to the end of the chain using a jump ring. Finally attach another jump ring to the end of the chain and attach unit 2 to the large silver split ring.
3. Unit 3 - Take the metallic tassel and thread the tassel loop through the hole of the large silver spacer. Loop the tassel around the large silver split ring.
4. Unit 4 - Thread a 12mm grey pearl onto a head pin, then add another four 6mm white pearls to the head pin. Trim excess off the head pin, leaving approximately 7mm of pin. Turn the end of the pin into a loop. Attach a jump ring to the loop and then attach to the large silver split ring.
5. Unit 5 - Cut a piece of chain approximately 10cm long. Attach an acrylic teardrop to the bottom of the chain with a jump ring. Then attach the unit to the large silver split ring with another jump ring.
6. Unit 6 - Cut a piece of chain 6cm long.
Thread a 10mm white pearl onto a head pin. Turn the end of the pin into a loop. Now snip off the 'head' of the pin, leaving approximately 7mm of the pin. Turn this end into a loop as well (so you have a loop at both ends).
Attach the pearl to one end of the 6cm piece of chain. Now cut another piece of chain measuring approximately 4cm. Attach this piece of chain to the other end of the pearl unit. Using a jump ring attach the other end of the 4cm chain to a silver heart.
Finally attach another jump ring to the end of the 6cm chain and attach unit 6 to the large silver split ring.
7. Slide the large split ring through the ring of the swivel lobster clasp.
Your handbag jewellery accessory is complete. Attach to your favourite handbag and wear with style!
