Let's Get Started

Step 1
Pour all beads onto a bead board or a tea towel to stop them rolling around your table.

Step 2
Cut 4 pieces of tiger tail approximately 30cm long.

Step 3
Thread a crimper onto a piece of tiger tail.  Thread the end of the tiger tail through one of the outside loops of the magnetic clasp.

Step 4
Now feed the shorter end of the tiger tail back through the crimp bead.  Secure the two lengths of tiger tail together by squashing the crimp bead with your pliers.  You are now ready to start threading your beads onto the tiger tail.

Step 5
Begin threading by using 2 x 6mm Swarovski beads.  This allows you to feed the loose short 'tail' of the tiger tail back through the beads.  Then continue feeding your Swarovski beads and freshwater pearls onto the tiger tail thread randomly. Check the length as you go.  End with 2 x 6mm Swarovski bicones.  Once you're satisfied with the length of the threaded beads, feed a crimp onto the tiger tail.  Then thread the tiger tail through the corresponding loop of the magnetic clasp.  Thread the end of the tiger tail back through the crimp and the last two Swarovski bicones.  Pull the tiger tail taught (use your pliers if you need to get a better grip).  Squash the crimper to secure the stranded beads.  Cut off the excess tiger tail.

Step 6
Now repeat step 5 for the remaining 3 strands.

Your Swarovski & Freshwater Pearl Stranded Cuff is complete.  Wear with style!

Matching Earrings

Use some of the left over Swarovski Crystals and Freshwater Pearls to create a matching set of earrings.

What you will need

> 1 x JF109 - Ribtex Shepherd Hooks Gold
> 1 x JF113 - Ribtex Jump Rings 4mm Gold
> 1 x JF195 - Ribtex Head Pins 65mm Gold

Access to Ribtex Round Nose Pliers (JF166)

Let's Get Started

Step 1
Thread random beads onto three separate head pins for each earring.  See a close up of our selection in the photograph.  Cut the excess head pin off each unit, leaving approximately 7mm of pin.  Use your round nose pliers to turn the ends of the head pin into a loop.

Step 2
Repeat this process for all 6 head pins.  Thread three of the head pins onto a jump ring.  Attach the jump ring to the bottom loop of the shepherd hood.  Repeat for the second earring.

Your earrings are complete!
